Dancer Lotte Berk created a workout that has captivated women worldwide for over 70 years. Rooted in dance, physiotherapy, and yoga, it’s the original Barre technique that inspired them all.
Workout Made for Women
The first workout designed specifically for the female form. It starts at the deepest muscle fibers of the pelvic floor, activates your core, and pulses outward, reshaping and realigning your body.
Where Movement Meets Strength
An intense 60-minute workout built on precise, rewarding movements. While one side of your body is stretched, stabilized, and fully engaged, the other side performs tiny lifts, extensions, and graceful shaping.

Lotte Berk’s daughter, Esther Fairfax, remained fiercely devoted to her mother’s original vision, teaching “Lotte Berk” classes right up until her passing in April 2024 at the age of 90. She granted training only to a select few, ensuring absolute precision and loyalty to the technique.
I'm proud to be part of this small, high-caliber circle of women worldwide who experienced Esther’s rigorous guidance and now carry on Lotte Berk’s legacy.

What do I need to know before my first class?
Wear non-slip socks and bring a yoga mat. Other than that, you don’t need anything else! This workout is suitable for any fitness level, flexibility, or coordination—I will help you discover your deep muscles, engage and activate them mindfully.
I’m not sure if this workout is for me—can I give it a try without a big commitment?
Absolutely! I’d love for you to come for a trial session at a discounted rate, so you can see if it’s a good fit. The workout itself is based on a sequence of related exercises, meaning the more classes you attend, the deeper you’ll connect with your body—and once you do, you’ll only want more!
I have some temporary or physical/health limitations. Can I still join the class?
First of all, please let me know about your condition so I can offer any special guidance or adjustments you might need. Generally, if there’s no medical restriction against exercising, you can absolutely benefit from Barre.
